Google Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL Receive Call Screening Feature

As reported by a user on Reddit, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel  2 XL can now use the Call Screening feature that was once exclusive to the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Call Screening allows users to filter spam calls and have Google Assistant answer the call.

The feature is still US exclusive. Hence, you won’t be able to use it outside the United States. Reddit user, timeinreddit, also mentioned that he’s using the beta version of the Google Phone app which also features the new dark theme.

However, even if you do sign up for the beta, do remember that this is a staged roll out and it might take some time before the feature becomes available on your Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL.
