Rumors surrounding Google’s Pixel 3 Lite smartphones continue to circulate online. So much so that we know most everything about the upcoming devices.
We know that a Snapdragon 670 will power the Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 Lite XL will run on a Snapdragon 710 processor.
We spotted a Pixel device with the listing name is Pixel 3 XL powered by sdm710 processor on the Geekbench. The listing also states that the device will have 6GB RAM.
sdm710 stands for Snapdragon 710 chipset. We already know that Pixel 3 uses Snapdragon 845 chipset. So, there could only be one explanation. This is the Pixel 3 Lite XL.
Unless, of course, Google is planning a surprise release which is unlikely. The Foxconn tidbit means that this device is in production. Foxconn is the company that makes Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones.
From what we can tell, the specs are:
- 6-inch IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels (no Notch)
- Snapdragon 710 processor
- 6GB RAM
- Android 9 Pie
And, as far as a release date, speculations are that:
- a January release expected
- it should launch in the US with Verizon
- the price is about $400-450
The Pixel 3 Lite XL will feature a 6-inch display and a no-notch full HD+ IPS display with a headphone jack.
The Pixel 3 Lite, will have a 5.56-inch IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels. There’s also the Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM + 32GB of storage.
