A discussion that has been as old as smartphones existed is the one between Android and iPhone users. Both of these products have fans who protect and defend such devices religiously and have formed a cult. For me, the gap between iPhone and Android phones has narrowed over the years as there used to be a time when the iPhone used to be a superior phone.
However, Android phones have made some major improvements over the years, and if you are not too stubborn to see it, you will realize that these phones have become far better and give much more value for money. In this article, I am going to highlight four reasons to go for an android phone rather than wasting your money on an iPhone. So, without further ado, let’s begin the comparison.
Better Operating System
Now I agree that there used to be a time when an Android phone would get slow over time due to its inferior operating system, but these phones have come a long way from there. Google has just released the latest Android 11 operating platform, and I can say with my hands down that it is the smoothest system I have ever used. Android has become a lot more user-friendly, and the Google Play Store is still one of the most fantastic and well laid-out stores right now.
Price & Affordability
The main reason why Android takes the biggest piece of the cake for me is its price. I am not saying that an Apple phone is the worst phone in the world; in today’s world, most people are looking for value for money, and Apple phones simply don’t offer that. You have to spend a lot of money on an average phone, while on the other hand, Android phones are much cheaper with better specs. If you compare Android flagship phones with iPhones, you are always going to find more value with Android.
Customization and Freedom
Putting the price and operating system aside, one of the things I personally adore about Android is that it lets you do too much. If you are a huge music fan, you can use a YouTube downloader to download any song directly from YouTube. Moreover, you get more apps on the Google Play Store. If you know what you are doing, you can turn the phone however you like so that every time you use it, you feel connected to it. Apple simply doesn’t give its users that much freedom, which is a big no for me.
Innovation
Last but not least, the main reason why Android is and always will be the best phone compared to iPhones is that they have an eye for innovation. New innovative features are rolled out every time a new phone is released, like moving from in-screen fingerprint sensors to iris scanners. Most iPhone users themselves agree that since Steve Jobs passed away, there hasn’t been any major change or innovation in the Apple devices.
