Sonic Advance
Making a re-appearance on this list is Sonic Advance. The first game in the Sonic Advance series and one of the first Sonic games released on a Nintendo console.
The gameplay is the same as in all other 2D Sonic games, and the story is just about the same too; Eggman is trying to take over yet again, and it is up to Sonic and his friends to stop him.
There are 6 Zones, each containing 2 Acts. There are seven individual stages. Each reachable by finding special springs. In these stages, the player can collect the 7 Chaos Emeralds.

Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country is the first game by Rare based on the character of Donkey Kong. It’s pretty much a Super Nintendo classic. Donkey Kong had originally appeared in the classic 1981 Donkey Kong game.
However, Donkey Kong Country is completely different. The goal of your is to retrieve your stolen bananas. You’ll have to complete various areas with a certain amount of levels.
Each zone features a boss, in a very similar fashion to Super Mario Bros 3 or Super Mario World. You need to beat the boss to move to the next area.
The gameplay is similar to most platformers, except that Donkey Kong has a few unique skills. He can roll, pick up and throw barrels, he also has a special ground attack, and can ride on rolling barrels!

Mario Vs Donkey Kong
An unofficial sequel to the original Gameboy’s version of Donkey Kong, this title expands on the various jumping tricks and puzzles of its predecessor.
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong is a highly entertaining game and a unique experience even for those experienced with typical 2D Mario games. I would recommend this game to anyone enjoys puzzle platformers.
