Are your pictures piling up on Facebook? Then, learn how to delete Facebook images by following some simple steps. It is as easy as adding your Facebook events to Google calendar. The tutorial works for both Android, iOS and desktop variations of Facebook.
Delete Facebook Images From Desktop PC Browser
- Sign into Facebook.
- Select “Photos” on the left menu, located in the “Explore” section.
- Navigate to the image you wish to delete.
- Mouse over the video you want to remove, then select the “Options” link located at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose “Delete This Photo.”
The deleted picture no longer appears in the news feeds, albums or anywhere on Facebook. Unless, of course, someone else uploaded the same picture without your knowledge. In that case, you can remove tags from photos or ask the person to take it down.
Delete Pictures Off Facebook Android App
- Open the Facebook app, then tap the “Menu” box in the upper-right corner.
- Select your name.
- Select “Photos.”
- Navigate to the image you need to delete.
- With the video displayed, tap the three dots at the upper-right corner of the screen., then select “Delete Photo.”
Remove A Photo From Facebook iOS App
- Open the Facebook app, then tap the “More” option in the lower-right corner.
- Select your name.
- Select “Photos.”
- Navigate to the video you want to delete.
- With the video displayed, tap the three dots at the upper-right corner of the screen., then select “Delete Photo.”
For those who cannot delete an image, the picture more than likely does not belong to you. I.E. You did not upload the photo to Facebook. In instances such as these, you have to untag yourself, ask the owner to take the pic down or contact Facebook.
