Find Printer Address Via Configuration Sheet
Is this your printer? If so, then you can print a configuration page. By doing so, your printer prints a page that displays various information about itself. Luckily, this also includes the printer’s IP address. Printing the configuration page varies by device.
One way to do it is by holding the Power button or Go button for about 5 to 1o seconds. Moreover, if your printer has a screen, you may do print the page via the Menu. Find Printer IP Address Via Menu
Does your printer have a built in screen? Then, this method is the quickest way to know what the IP address of your printer is. If your printer does not have a display, skip this section of the tutorial.
- Open the menu or Click Menu
- Go to Network Settings
- In this section, you should see some information displayed like MAC address
- Here, you also see your printer’s IP address.
Locate IP Address on Printer Properties
Have you previously used the printer via a computer? Then, you are in luck. Here’s what to do for Microsoft Windows, follow these steps.
- Go to “Start” > “Devices and Printers.”
- Right-click on the printer and select “Printer Properties.”
- Select “Ports.”
- See if a port is checked for your printer.
- It usually displays the IP address the printer is using.
