It seems that we’ve written about this before and it was for Android phones. Then came the requests for “How to turn on the flashlight on an iPhone?” But does the iPhone really have a flashlight? The short answer is, yes! It does. So, if you’re stuck in the dark and all you have is an Apple iPhone, here’s how to activate its flashlight:

Steps For Switching The Flashlight On
- Swipe up from the bottom bezel of your iPhone to open the Control Center.
- Tap the Flashlight button in the bottom left of the screen to switch on the flashlight.
- The LED flash on the back of your iPhone should light up.
To turn off the flashlight, simply repeat the steps above.
iPhone Flashlight Tips
If you have an iPhone X, you can also switch on the light from the Lock screen. Simply hard press on the flashlight icon in the bottom-left corner.
On any iPhone, like the iPhone 6 or later, you can adjust the brightness of the light via the Control Center. Simply hard/long press the flashlight icon to bring up the brightness adjustment tool. Once it appears, drag the slider to adjust the light to your liking.
For those of you who cannot find or use the flashlight using the built-in feature, you can use an app like Flashlight to utilize your LED as a torch.
