The Lenovo Vibe Shot is a an octa-core smartphone with a 5 inch display and a 16 megapixel rear camera. The Vibe Shot runs on a 3000 mAh battery and 3GB of RAM. The device is also known as the Lenovo z90-7 and Lenovo Vibe Max. This article introduces the features/characteristics of the device as well as an overview of the specifications and a Lenovo Vibe Shot review.
Design
The Lenovo Vibe Shot is striking from the outset. This is one of those smartphones that feature a one-piece design. On the other hand, it is a well balanced device, comfortable in the hand but it is heavier than most Lenovo smartphones. (The sacrifice of having a battery of 2,900 milliamps) It weighs in at 140 grams. Nothing over the top. Despite the size of the battery, the thickness is 7.3 mm, a figure that puts the Vibe Shot head to head with some of the thinnest smartphones on the market.
The frame is made of aluminum, while the front and back are covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This puts the Vibe Shot a step higher than typical polycarbonate smartphones in terms of the value of the materials and on a par with the most famous names such as the Huawei Honor 7.
The design is very similar to that of the Aquaris E5 HD and BQ Aquaris M5, with aluminum edges that do not completely cover the sides. This small gap improves grip. It is also similar to the BQ in terms of the grids of holes for the sound on the lower side; the grid on the left houses the microphone, while the right houses the speakers.
Display
In the area of the display, the Lenovo Vibe Shot mobile phone uses an IPS panel with good resolution, Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. These figures allow for a pixel density of 441 dots per inch and offer an excellent level of detail for both apps and games as well as high resolution videos and movies.
The screen is of excellent quality, with a reproduction – according to Lenovo – 100% of the NTSC gamut, which would place the Vibe Shot screen among the best display panels as far as color reproduction goes.
Unfortunately, however, the colors look over-saturated; there are problems of supersaturation as those of AMOLED screens. Luckily you can adjust, even if little, the saturation to lower it and get more natural colors. The blacks are very good, although not perfect. Whites appear well balanced and with the right temperature. The viewing angles are good from all directions.
Camera
Lenovo Vibe Shot CameraThe Lenovo Vibe Shot camera, the central feature of the Lenovo Vibe Shot , already emphasized by the name, is a 16 megapixel rear sensor with aperture: f/2.2, auto focus, triple LED flash and infrared focus.
This type of sensor provides higher-quality photos in low light conditions. Furthermore, the use of a tricolor flash creates different shades according to the lighting of the place in which the photos are taken in order to make them look more natural.
Another point that requires highlight is the use of infrared autofocus. This smartphone is also capable of recording video in high quality (1080p).
Camera Samples

Lenovo has not forgotten the front camera. The resolution on this camera is 8 megapixels which allow us to take selfies and very good video-conferences.

Power/Memory/Storage
The Lenovo Vibe Shot uses a good 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. This chip clocks out at 1.5 GHz on four of its cores and 1GHz in the remaining four. This is combined with 3GB of RAM, a competitive figure which allows a greater number of open processes without performance slow downs. The company will market this model with an internal memory of 32 GB. If necessary, this memory can be expanded via a memory card of up to 128 GB.
Connectivity
The Lenovo Vibe Shot supports high-speed 4G networks. This structure allows you to achieve transfer rates up to 150 Mbps. On the other hand, the Lenovo VIbe Shot is dual SIM card capable. Software
The Lenovo smartphone uses Android 5.0 Lollipop, a version of Google’s operating system that offers a complete face-lift with a more intuitive and colorful interface. The company has also included its own layer of software to personalize the experience of this phone, the Lenovo Vibe UI.
Among the most interesting features is a camera application with a professional shooting mode for photo enthusiasts who need to have greater control over the functions of camera. We also have ShareIT, an application used to share files and snapshots with other smartphones. And CLONEit to copy data from one of device to a new device.
Besides these features, it is noteworthy to say that there are the normal Google apps. For example, YouTube for videos, Google Maps for navigation, and Gmail which can manage any and all email accounts.
Another application that is gaining a lot of attention is Google Now, an intelligent assistant that learns user preferences and displays relevant information in the form of cards. Furthermore you can customize the interface even further using Lenovo Vibe UI Themes.

Review
The Lenovo Vibe Shot is a complete phone and able to meet the needs of the average user without difficulty. Although its camera is of high standard, it can not replace a compact camera; Lenovo, however, has actually kept their promise to deliver to the purchaser a smartphone with above average photographic capabilities. Priced at around € 300 which is sold online (approximately € 325 on TinyDeal.com ) it is hard to beat.
