Unfortunately, the Google Pixel 3 XL has its fair share of bugs and glitches. However, one such problem will soon be patched in an upcoming update. The Pixel 3 XL buzzing issue as first noticed by Reddit users will be the center of Google’s latest patch for the Pixel 3 XL.
The issue is similar to that of the Pixel 2 XL where some models suffered from a buzzing noise. At that time, users were advised to seek a replacement. However, with the issue on the Pixel 3 XL, a replacement does not seem to address the problem.
A Google rep reached out to Android Police to confirm that Google is aware of the issue and are working on a fix that will be released soon.
I’ve checked with my resources and we will be rolling out a software update in the coming weeks to address the audible buzzing in certain instances at lower volumes. Please be assured, this issue will be fixed in coming updates.
