This is a simple guide that will show you how to use the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Multi-Window Split-Screen feature. By now, we’ve seen the commercials of the Galaxy Note 5 where they show us that it really can do “two things at once”. This is the Multi-Window feature which also goes by the name “Split-Screen”. With it you can browse the web and chat with your friends at the same time.
The only downside is that there are a limited number of apps that can work with the feature. There is no way to enable any additional apps either. But for now, here is how to turn on and use multi-window on a Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
Turn On and Use Multi-Window
- To access Multi-Window, press and hold the “Recent” button located below the screen on the left side.
- Select the first app you would like to open.
- Select the second app you would like to open.
The ball in the center of the screen provides options you can use with Multi-Window:
- Switch windows
- Drag and drop
- Minimize
- Maximize
- Close app
Did you think that you needed anything else? That’s all there is to enable multi-window on your Note 5. As a small reminder this post shows you how to turn on multi-window on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 model SM-N920.
