Display
The Sony Xperia C4 continues to integrate a 5.5 inches screen which offers vivid display of pictures, and improves the resolution. The previous model, the Xperia C3, settled for an HD screen, but the C4 raises the bar to FullHD (1920 x 1080 pixels), achieving a density of 400 dots per inch. The company includes the Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2 technology and also provides realistic richer colors.

Design
The design is in line with the Xperia range but, in this device, the casing has rounded edges and is plastic, reminding us that this is a mid-high range device, though it does include original features of more advanced phones, such as the aluminum power button. It is quite spacious and, with the body, 7.9 millimeters, it weighs in at 147 grams, weighing more than other smartphones with 5.5-inch screens. It is available in classic black and white tones, and Sony even added a model in mint green.
Camera
The Sony Xperia C4 is a mobile device focused on selfies, we will begin this section talking about the front camera. The sensor is a Exmor R and has a resolution of 5 megapixel. Sony has placed a lens with a focal length of 25 mm, so you can capture a wider angle and fit more people in the picture. The front camera also benefits from other features like Superior Auto mode and Intelligent LED flash regulating power as needed. The rear camera increases to 13 megapixel in resolution and has the option of using the HDR mode on photos and videos. Also supports LED flash, video recording in full HD and comes with an image stabilizer, but of course, digital. The Sony Xperia C4 carries a shutter button on the side so you can take pictures more easily. Of course it could not miss the pack of applications from Sony that includes features such as AR Mask, Sound Photo and Style Portrait.

Multimedia
Sony includes several improvements to sound on Sony Xperia C4. The device has a powerful speaker that reaches 97 dB and comes with Clear Audio + sound filter. It also includes xLOUD technology and Sony surround sound. It also has a microphone with stereo sound recording.
Power
The Sony Xperia C4 integrates an eight-core processor with 64-bit support, but not Qualcomm, a Mediatek. Specifically it is the Mediatek MTK6752 which is accompanied by a graphics processor, the ProARM Mali760 MP2 up to 700 Mhz frequency. RAM up to 2GB to ensure the fluidity of the system, especially when you open multiple applications simultaneously.

Memory
The Sony Xperia C4 will release a version with 16GB of storage capacity, although only 10 Gb is available with the OS and apps taking up the remaining 6GB. The device supports MicroSD memory cards, which can have a maximum capacity of 128GB.
Operating System
The Sony Xperia C4 comes standard with Android 5.0 Lollipop and all the new features included. You can see notifications on the lock screen, the system has a clearer and simpler look and improved performance. Besides the Google application package, the Sony Xperia C4 also includes some applications of the brand such as PlayMemories or STAMINA mode to conserve battery power.
Connectivity
The Sony Xperia C4 comes in two versions, one with a single SIM and a double slot to carry two phone numbers without having to carry two phones. It connects to 3G and 4G mobile networks, as well as WiFi (although there are instances where the Sony Xperia C4 won’t connect to Wi-Fi networks). Among its wireless connections there is the GPS antenna with support for Glonass, Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA wireless port, an NFC chip and WiFi miracast function to duplicate the screen. Wired connections are a microUSB and headphone jack.
Battery
The Sony Xperia C4 integrates a 2,600 milliamp battery (some reports of poor battery performance but you can read Fix: Sony Xperia C4 battery drain/overheating) that offers nearly 13 hours of talk time, more than 53 hours playing music and 8 hours playing videos. The company says it lasts two full days with normal use, while it lasts 682 hours if it is in sleep mode.

Review
The Sony Xperia C4 is a very complete and interesting mid range smartphone, which emphasizes selfies though the camera is not the best in this area, see HTC Desire Eye . The rear camera also improved over the previous model, like the screen which now has HD resolution. The processor is a next-generation Mediatek component, although not to the level of high-end devices. The battery remains a key point in Sony smartphones providing options for power saving and extended use. A great choice for lovers of both Android and Sony smartphones.
