Screen
Large screens have been democratized and now we find that both high-end mobile devices as well as devices basic as the Sony Xperia E4 are equipped with larger screens though always with the handicap of having a lower resolution (in the case of low end mobile devices). For the Xperia E4, there is a five-inch IPS panel. The resolution is QHD, which results in a distribution of 960 x 540 pixels and 220 pixels per inch density. The IPS technology ensures sharpness and viewing angles up to 178 degrees. Sony protected the screen with a sheet of scratch-resistant glass.
