The Wiko Bloom is a smartphone with a 4.7 inch display that runs on a quad-core processor at a maximum clock speed of 1.3 GHz. The device also has a built in five megapixels rear camera that supports LED flash. This article provides an overview of the features and specs as well as a Wiko Bloom review.
Wiko Bloom
Display
The Wiko Bloom’s display has a size of 4.7 inches, which makes it a phone that is within the normal standards of modern telephony sector. This screen offers WVGA resolution, i.e 800 x 480 pixels with a pixel density of 198 dpi. As usual in modern handsets, the Wiko Bloom incorporates a sensor that automatically adjusts the display back-light brightness to adapt to every situation, providing a significant reduction in battery consumption.
Design
Regarding the design, the Wiko Bloom comes with a total size of 138.5 x 71.5 x 9.35 mm and a weight, including the battery, of around 145 grams. The colors available are white, black, turquoise, coral, fuscia, violet and yellow. Whichever version you decide to purchase, the front of the terminal will offer an elegant look that remains black no matter the color of the rest of the body. One detail that is very interesting is that Bloom Wiko incorporates integrated touch buttons on the front of the housing, allowing you to maximize the 4.7-inch screen without giving up space on the actual screen (which, sadly, happens with smartphones that incorporate virtual buttons directly into the screen).
Wiko Bloom
Camera
The Wiko Bloom has two cameras. In the back of the mobile phone we have a main camera that uses a five megapixel sensor coupled with LED flash that allows us to improve the lighting in the pictures taken in dark environments or poor lighting. The camera application includes options such as auto focus, editor and even animated pictures (GIFs), allowing us to fully customize any photo taken with the camera. In addition to photographs, you can also shoot videos with a maximum resolution of 1,080 pixels.
As for the front camera, it is two megapixels and, it should be more than enough to make personal video calls and even take selfies. Perhaps not the best camera seen on Wiko Smartphones but it does get the job done.

Multimedia
The multimedia aspect of the Wiko Bloom consists of the usual specifications seen in current smartphones. In addition to compatibility with the various formats of music and video ( MP3, WAV, 3GP, etc.), we also have an FM Radio that allows us to play different national stations without the need for a network connection. Handy if you like to spend time enjoying the radio.
Wiko BloomProcessor
The Wiko Bloom’s built-in processor is a Cortex A7, with four cores and offers a clock speed of 1.3 GHz. This processor is accompanied by a memory (RAM) of 1 gigabyte, which guarantees absolute fluidity when running typical applications within the Android operating system. The one thing you have to look out for is the use of multiple applications at the same time. This can cause serious lag.
Storage
Regarding the internal storage, the Wiko Bloom has a space of 4 gigabytes of which we know that almost half is occupied by the standard operating system. Therefore, it is best that you also use it with a microSD memory card (up to a maximum of 32 gigabytes) in order to have peace of mind knowing that you can store all types of files (photos, videos, etc.) without space presenting itself as a problem.
Wiko BloomConnectivity
In terms of wireless connectivity, the Wiko Bloom comes standard with a 3G connection which will allow us to navigate through the Internet using a data rate previously contracted with any telephone company. The maximum download speed offered by this connection is around 21 Mbps, while the upload speed is up to 5.76 Mbps.
In addition to the data rate, we can also connect to a router connection using WiFi in order to surf the net wirelessly. In addition to this connection, there is also the WiFi Hotspot feature, which allows us to share our data connection with other devices (mobile, tablet, laptop, etc.). The rest of wireless connectivity include Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Regarding the physical connectivity, the Wiko Bloom surprises us with a dual-SIM card slot that allows you to use two phone numbers simultaneously. In addition, we also have a microUSB slot (for charging and file transfer) and a 3.5 mm minijack (for connecting headphones or speakers).
Battery
The Wiko Bloom will provide a range of about 13 hours on 3G and approximately 14 hours on 2G. In Standby (i.e, without use and display off), the Wiko Bloom may last up to eleven days without charge. The battery is Li-Ion with a capacity of 2000 mAh.
Release Date
The Wiko Bloom hit stores in May 2014.
Price
The Wiko Bloom price sits at 130 euros.

Review
Looking at the specs of the smartphone and taking into account the starting price, the Wiko Bloom is a mobile phone that fits perfectly within the the needs for average users. It is a complete phone that may only generate doubts due to its internal storage (but fortunately there is a microSD card slot). If you like you can check out other options such as the Wiko Lenny, Wiko Lenny 2 or Wiko Jimmy. The Wiko Goa is also a good choice.
